Randy tells of one of his elk hunts, with a client, and alone, the year he was 15. He was raised at Blackwater Lodge, east of Cody, WY. He had the joy of roaming the high mountains in the area, mostly behind Blackwater. There was a huge issue with product promised was months late in delivery: Randy dispels the notion that custom rifle can only be built on a Rem 700 footprint or custom actions, or they are even the only ones that can be rebarreled. That is nonsense. Randy can and has built custom rifles on any number of different actions: Sako, Mauser, Springfields, Win. Mon 70 pre-64, and Mod 70 actions to name a few.
