Custom Stocks

We work with our clients preference of stock style and material for an exceptional shooting experience.

Randy builds custom rifles using quality wood stocks from blanks from a trusted supplier, Cecil Fredi. Our clients may have the choice of classic Claro walnut, maple, myrtle or numerous other wood stocks, all with fine detail, color and appeal. We also stock use wood stocks that are ready to fit and finish from various suppliers, depending on the need or desires of the client.

Randy will work with the client to come up with the custom wood stock that will best fit the shooting needs, budget and desires. He can stock a rifle using 3X or more wood blank to form a perfect heirloom rifle, with or without checkering. He can also order a stock that is ready for the barreled action from numerous suppliers, with fitting, bedding and finish work for the budget minded. Each stock is custom fit to the barreled action using industry standard bedding practices, along with techniques specific to this shop, to achieve top accuracy.

Our fiberglass stocks can come in molded in color, or to be finished to our client’s tastes and desires. McMillan is our choice of molded in color stocks, but there are others in the market that we will use if there is a style or manufacturer that our clients prefer. Each fiberglass stock is custom fit to the barreled action using industry standard bedding practices, along with techniques specific to this shop, to achieve top accuracy. Hi-Tech stocks and others can be finished in a textured epoxy finish that not only looks sharp, but is durable and helps with grip in wet conditions. Laminate stocks come in a variety of color combinations as well as configurations. We stock for target, bench rest, tactical, hunting, varmint, long range, or takedown rifles. Laminate stocks, while heavier, are very attractive and durable. We can also order laminate stock blanks so a totally custom stock may be made to fit any particular need, whether it is stock with a higher cheek piece than normal, or a stock that needs to be off-set to accommodate a shooter with special needs. Each laminate stock is custom fit to the barreled action using industry standard bedding practices, along with techniques specific to this shop, to achieve top accuracy.

Hydrographic coating:

We currently offer 11 camo patterns, 3 wood styles and 1 marble finish are offered for fiberglass stocks. Others may be available upon request. Metal work can be finished, also, and looks especially sharp with the camo patterns. This is a quite durable finish and looks very sharp.. Adding the same pattern to the complete barreled action can be done and is very eye catching.
